Cheap Trademarks

I want to register my new brand and logo as a trademark. Can anyone recommend any good websites that help, I've spoken to a trademark lawyer but he was really expensive.

I've been recommended www.cheaptrademarks.co.uk and they seem really reasonable and helpful, can anyone recommend any others?

Thanks for your help.

Hmm...

Their simplicity package states:

◦FREE Search
◦Expert legal advice
◦Simple registration procedure
◦No experience required

• Trademark search is free anyway, no?
• Expert Legal Advice - ok, can't comment on that one.
• So, are they charging £99 to fill-in the application? Why can't people do it themselves?
• No experience required - they're charging £99 to state 'no experience required'?

Odd.

Chat with Philip at VeryMark - he did my trademarks. :)

Thanks Eagle. I contacted cheaptrademarks and they were really helpful. I see what you mean about their website though. I was hoping to compare services, I'll get in touch with verymark and another one I found.

Would you recommend filing my own trademark? Is it a simple process?

The owner of the domain cheaptrademarks.co.uk referred to by TonyR is:

Registrant's address:
The registrant is a non-trading individual who has opted to have their

.......... I have been a qualified trade mark attorney since 1972 - but of course I'm sure that a business four days old might be really helpful!

Marketing is always a good thing. but to disguise it as a need for help is somewhat unethical. In my view you have misrepresented the board with your intentions.

There are people on here that are geniunely helpful and go out of their way to help people.

Just my view though. I am sure your not the first or the last to do something like that. Never the less, I hope it goes well with the marketing.
