Charges for Calls to Mobile Phones

Just wondering what others are paying for this...

If you call from a landline to a mobile, and you're paying less than 4p, share any tips on where to find such a good rate!

I put £0.00 but in reality I pay £7/mo for unlimited calls to landlines & mobiles, which also includes diverting my landline to my mobile

My business land line is only used to receive calls as I use my mobile for all outgoing calls (except to one company) as the £33 per month I pay Vodafone covers all calls to mobiles as well as standard landlines.

I'll give you one guess who the exception is

Hi

I am both a landline and a mobile dealer; many of my customers are paying less than 2p per minute.

The more landline to mobile minutes they require, the cheaper it gets.

For example, I have an Estate Agent customer in London with 6 offices who pays just £345 + VAT for 20,000 minutes of landline to mobile calls per month.

For smaller customers, I will often supply GSM Deskphones instead with 'unlimited' business sims.

The cheapest 'unlimited' business sim I know of at the moment is £20 + VAT for two sims.

I went with skype and got a London number for 55 euro a year rental due to me being in China they have the option if your not at the pc or near a wifi location it will then send the call to my cell.

I just copied a few of my recorded calls for June so that you've got an idea of price. I,m very happy with the service. You can also send text messages. Very cheap i think.

We have our own VoIP Switch and currently pay just under 1ppm plus vat which is a wholesale rate as we are launching our own low cost calls service which will go live once we have completed platform testing - TBH if your paying over 4ppm you should probably be looking for a new VoIP service provider! Once we make this availble to the public our mobile rate will be 1ppm and UK landline will be well under half pence per min! Number will cost £2PM

I could probably get 2.5ppm on BT relatively easily from several providers.
