Changing username

Actually, I'm not sure that it is the username that I'm referring to. What I was hoping to change is the name which is displayed with my posts/threads - is this possible?

What exactly do you mean - your name 'Sorted' or the bit that says 'I'm just testing the water here'. Or something completely different?

I mean the Sorted bit. I didn't actually notice the testing the water bit - I assume UKBF have added that to my posts because I'm newish?

Yes you're right. If you want to change your username I'll have to do it - so please send me a message with the name you'd like me to change it to (and a second choice in case your first is already taken by another member).

Ok, feel like I'm being silly here, but how do I send you a message?

Normally to send a message either:

Click on someone's username and you are given a drop down list, 'send a private message' is an option on this list. Click on this and then write your message and press submit.

Or go into My UKBF (link at top left hand corner) and then look at the list on the left. Under 'Private Messages' you can click 'Send New message' and then just type in the recipients name, write your message and then press submit.

Or look up at the blue bar at the top of the page - on the right of this there is a bit that says Private Messages. Go into this and there will be a message from me and you can reply to that. If you're still confused let me know or just tell me your username preferences by replying to this thread!
