Changing DVLA car tax direct debit payment method

Hi there,

i've just gone to start a live chat with the DVLA but it's failing to start the chat.

Can anyone advise on how to change the bank details in which the DVLA take monthly payments from?

Just cancel the DD. They will get in touch very quickly.

Just cancel the DD. They will get in touch very quickly.

Cancel the DD and restart a new tax with your new bank details . You will need your V5
This way you will be taxed and the old tax will just drop off
