I took a look at your website and I thought I'd pass on something that I noticed which is slightly misleading.

I clicked on balloon printing prices and I noticed that there was an optional extra if you buy 100 balloons for an ink change. I then checked out what the single * meant.
The explanation under the heading of ink colour then relates to an example purchase of 500 balloons with half being orange and the other blue which is classed as one ink change! There is no such asterisk against the purchase of 500 balloons, so a potential customer of 500 balloons is unlikely to know about the additional ink charge, as the asterisk doesn't appear in the optional extras box, although a double asterisk is present, which makes no reference to the single asterisk!

Furthermore, if you buy 100 balloons does this not apply as it mentions 500 balloons, and what happens if you want yellow and green ink, and not blue and orange?

I think its misleading, and I hope you don't mind me pointing it out.

customballoons

It can be quite complicated selling balloons online and this may lead to the misunderstandings previously given.

Things to remember....

Customising balloons involves building a template screen. This is the most costly part and why there is a minimum order cost built to an order. Also it is why the quantity of balloons ordered will rapidly reduce reduce the cost per balloon.

The more ink colours used, the more templates are used thus increasing the cost.

Foil balloons are 30 times the manufacture cost of rubber latex balloons. Whilst printing can be achieved on foil balloons, the overall printing cost is hugely increased.

Artwork needs to be sent at least A4 size as the balloon inflates to quite a large size and also the logo is printed onto the balloon whilst it is inflated. The misconception given is people believe it is printed whilst the balloon is deflated.

Printing laws apply, and when sending artwork it must be owned by the purchaser. Copyrighted work cannot reproduced onto a balloon.

Photographs don't always look like what you might expect. As it's not a colour copy production, the image is transferred into a single colour thus changing the picture entirely.

Hope this helps.
