Central Email System with Windows & Android Support

Hello, I need to find a better Central Email System that support Android and Windows PC. Can someone help?

If you go with Exchange make sure when you setup the client on Android etc that you select Exchange ActiveSync as the server type, then all emails, contacts, calendar etc. will be replicated to your server.

On the Windows PC you get a copy of Outlook with hosted Exchange so you can use that.

Also, part of the reason I'm moving on from Outlook is that I can at time have very serious problems adding emails. Does Exchange work better than Outlook? I can't remember the actual problem

Exchange and Outlook are different things.

Exchange is an email server system and Outlook is an email client.

Exchange and Outlook work very well together as they are both made by Microsoft, but you can use Outlook to connect to other mail services (POP3, SMTP etc.)

Have been using them for a couple of years now and never had any issues, also it's all hosted in the UK which we prefer over stuff hosted in the states.

Totally agree Paul. We use hosting through Heart Internet and most of our clients are on Hosted Exchange.

An alternative solution that's well supported on Windows & Android is Google Apps, which is essentially Google's equivalent of Hosted Exchange.

Another benefit of using Microsoft 365 is the ability to add on Microsoft Office licence for £7.00 a month.
- You can install it on 5 machines
- You get access to Office through your web browser.

Everything is becoming SaaS (software as a service). Its not worth buying Office standalone any more.

Just another plus for office 365. Microsoft just announced unlimited online storage with any office 365 sub. Nice to have it.
