Case Management Conference Help

Hi,

I am taking a company to court and defending my self (Due to lack of funds). I have received a letter today about the above. I have googled term and I am getting conflicting information and was wondering if someone can help.

1. Draft directions (On the letter from the court it only states the defendant should fill this out but on the internet is says I should fill this out).

Can anyone help?

A Case Management Conference is intended to clarify the issues, establish if there will be expert witnesses, work out how long the case may take, this kind of thing.

Which type of court is it in? small claims? employment tribunal? Something else?

Is the other party legally represented? If so, generally, their solicitors would provide draft directions for you to agree to.

However, I note this is a small claim. I am surprised there is a CMC. The court deals with directions generally in small claims.

Hi Richard, The case is a bit complex but the some of money is sub 10K and yes the defendant has a solicitor.
