Hi all,
I was hoping for some advice regarding what I can claim when leasing a car, as this seems the most efficient option for me.
I am a sole trader, my business is specialist teaching for university students with learning difficulties and disabilities. I use my guest room as an office and spend my days travelling to meet clients.
My business use of my vehicle is around 90%, so for the sake of keeping the numbers easy, if the lease was £100 a month, I can claim £90 of that? So if my monthly tax was £200, i'd end up paying £110? Is this correct?
Also, can I claim the deposit/up front payment? If the contract involves maintainance, can this be claimed?
Is 160 still the magic number for carbon emmisions?
Many thanks in advance.
