After leaving my company last july 2024 and selling all my shares at the beginning of august 2024, and received the money in August, are these funds still liable for the new cpg tax increase? I ask because everything all went through before the increase and my accounts are being done now for 2024-2025.

If the disposal was before October 24 then it should be taxed at the previous rates, hopefully you had your accountant involved with the sale and also a solicitor to make sure.

Assuming of course the sale of shares qualifies for capital treatment and does not fall to be treated as income.
