I wasnt posting an offer, I was trying to reply to an offer!:)

I still cant post a reply to the offer, its keeps saying -

theprintingworks, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
  1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
  2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

hhmmm, bit strange. Anyway Ive ordered a game too, hope it arrives in time for xmas :).

Your earlier link suggested that we could post anywhere except 'Events and Press Releases '

as per this -

"All sorted and the offer is now listed.

There isnt an issue with membership level. When you become a fully paid up member you are able to post in the Events and Press Releases sections as well as the private members forums which includes a section for offers.

All offers in either section of the forum need to be validated by a mod before they become public viewing. This can sometimes take longer than normal as we might have to do a bit of background work to see if this is an offer exclusive to UKBF or just an offer they have on all over the place. "

Sorry, my earlier post didnt suggest that. It was to point out some of the benefits of becoming a fully paid up member, there are many others. See the FAQ section of the forum or my signature for more details.

One of the other benefits is that you can reply to offers.

Hope that clears things up.

You will probably need the receipt for a refund when they fix the permissions, and you can no longer post ;)

The offers section should be closed to replies from all membership levels for the reasons given in the sticky at the top of the forum. It was also decided to be thus via a member poll so I fail to see how this could be deemed to be....

However, it is clear that it is not working in this way and is being looked into. There is obviously a bug in it which needs fixing and is on the "to do" list. You must appreciate that this is an extremely busy forum and things have to be done on a priority basis.

Unless its not a bug now, and it is for paid up members, in which case the sticky is wrong...
