I have a problem that I'm in the process of trying to resolve and wonder if anyone has any ideas.
I access a web site frequently but as of yesterday neither of my browsers, Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer, wont open the site. I accessed the site ok yesterday morning. Then I tried to FTP to the site (never had a problem with this before) and the FTP failed. I then tried to open the site in Mozilla. Mozilla threw up an error saying the site maybe subject to a threat and didn't allow me access it. I tried again and this time Mozilla threw up the 'link reset when opening page' error. I tried to open the site in IE but it couldn't open the site.
I contacted the site owner who verified the site was up and running and he got someone else to try accessing it and they were sucessful.
So, i did all the usual stuff, flushed the cache, checked Moxilla hadn't bloked the site, checked that Windows firewall wasn't stopping access, checked that my anti virus (Avast) wasn't stopping me.
All in all, I'm still trying to resolve the problem, so I thought I'd plug into the skill set on here. Any ideas?
