Yesterday morning I set up a new Google adwords campaign setting a daily budget of £8 per day. The billing for the day has been £21?

You have checked you entered nothing wrong and that the £8 buget has spent £21 of it?

No the daily buget is definitely set at £8

Because google will average it to be £8.00 a day over a month, so google has decided Saturday is going to be busy for you, with less spend during the week. That's the excuse. The reality is they will grab your money whilst they can, then drop your ads and your spend later in the month, to hit an average of £8.00 a day.
