Can bloggers help

im trying to get better ranked on Google (I'm wayyyyyy down), someone suggested I ask bloggers to help.
Is this within the rules? (I don't want to get punished before I even get started).
How to find a good blogger?
Any other ideas?

You don't need a blogger, you need someone who knows how to build you a decent website. Have you even looked at your site on a mobile phone?

Tell the person who suggested using a blogger to clear off as they haven't got a clue.

I know, I've seen the site and it's pretty obvious why you don't rank for anything useful.

You need to be a full member to get a site review. If you do join expect the worse as your site isn't good. And by not good I mean it's bad. Not the worst ever but it comes close.

Hi there! I was able to read your post and I like to share my ideas on this matter. First off, bloggers can help. That's if they are doing the right articles to promote your site/business and if they are reaching out to the right people who are likely to be interested in your site for a visit.

Second, there are 2 ways to get bloggers to promote your business and it can be done by hiring a freelance writer to write some blog contents for your site or look for blogs related to your niche and ask the blogger to write something about your site/business.

Lastly, blogging isn't the only way to get better rankings in Google for you can also make use of social media to reach out to certain prospects and introduce your site/business to these people...

Hope this helps...:)

A blogger has nothing to do with your concerns in better rankings because they specialized only in a particular field. However for a well experienced company or individual they will educate you while implementing their method on how your site performs well in the web specially on users.

Yes they can, but not in this case. The site needs sorting first, until that's done there is no point in paying bloggers to do anything.

Blogging outreach done well can be very successful (i.e offering a product in return for a review hosted on their blog to build up your sites link profile). But, as Fisicx says:
    The site needs sorting first
    - in terms of both driving traffic to your site via blog posts or even off-site linkbuilding it is key that your site is set up with at least some basic on site SEO and consideration into what you are trying to convert, sales, email subscribers etc...

The best blogging campaigns I have seen have been for consumer products with a low price point, but to make the most of it you do need to run it as almost a full PR campaign and ensure that the blogs / reviews etc are completed and are compliant with advertising laws.

It can be powerful - but even a thousand blogs singing your products praises isn't going to hide deficiencies in either your product, brand, or website.

There are plenty of platforms to find bloggers that take a cut for any work completed or I'd do a 'nearby' search on Twitter using 'blogger' as a keyword to see who is around and an 'influencer' (shudder ) in your local area.

On your own site - blogging can provide a stream on relevant content that Google likes to see - but is it what your visitors want to see, is it helping them to make an informed decision on your product?

In order to be on top you need to have traffic on your site and a very good SEO - this is how Google works. Invest in a marketing campaign and SEO. First of all I noticed that you are not on google maps, you need to register with Google my Business, Yell.com and all business directories from your area. In order to have more traffic on your website offer something for free. Do a campaign on Facebook, Twitter etc with a prize win, in this way people will visit your website and sign up for the contest ( and in the same time you will build yourself a database of potential costumers.).

Many of the suggestions above are looking into the path of inbound marketing which is becoming increasingly popular in the UK.
It can seem like a tricky concept to grasp, do I need to outsource X,Y and Z? will I have time to contribute to this? What will my ROI be? but it is much easier to grasp and implement than most people think.

@Vicky Limerick - no point in doing any of this until the site is sorted (as a number of people have already said).
