Hi all,

Looking for double walled boxes, the ebay/amazon prices are crazy - some websites out there quoting better prices but does anyone have any recommendations please?

Take a look at rajapack for single walled boxes you are looking at about 60p plus vat but if you buy more you get them cheaper.

Don't know if they do double walled packaging but have found Kite, Lightning and Zeus to be cheaper than Rajapack.

Can't really help but I concur that the price of a double walled cardboard box is indeed crazy.

In the end, I opted for single wall boxes...if you have an ebay shop, ebay will send you a £10 voucher each month, which can be used to purchase ebay branded single walled boxes....it works out at about 30p (ex VAT) per box (free delivery) for a quantity of 25pcs.

I'd imagine if you got busy on Alibaba & bought a chunky amount from China you could really bring the price per box down.

I find it quite puzzling at why the cost of a simple small cardboard box should be stupid-o-clock expensive.

One other option is to keep your eye out on gumtree & ebay (yes I know you've checked ebay, but don't give up!)...occasionally you can buy a 'one-off' few hundred boxes (a pallet or two) at a reasonable price (might not be the exact size you seek)
