Can anyone recommend a web based URL tracking solution

The only one I can find is urltrak.com but it's no longer accepting new accounts, can anyone recommend a similar solution?

I know of some self hosted solutions. I.e. you set them up on your server.
Google for "PHP Click Counter" & "redirection rocket"

What about Google Analytics, I'm not sure if it does what you'e after. But it's free so may be worth a cursory look.

What exactly do you mean by 'URL tracking solution'?

If you want to track how many people are leaving your site via a specific link, then that can be done via Google...

As Sambian1982 asked I am not exactly sure what do you mean by url tracking but you can analyze your visitors behaviour and track conversions by using one of the following services

Google Analytics

GetClicky.com ( I use this and I am happy with it )

and for conversion tracking there is tracking202.com

Thanks for all the replies, I was not aware you could do this accurately within Google analytics, does it track outbound links effectively?

I was looking for a website, where I could easily create unique URLs to track outbound links, I realise to do this 100% accurately you need a 1px gif on the external landing page, but is there any way around this?

In answer, yes, with Google Analytics.

Instead of using link though make it something unique so you can track the specific outbound link. Every time someone clicks on it it'll show up in your analytics data.
