Call Divert - Virgin

I would like to set up call divert on my phone so that missed calls would get redirected to a call answering service.

My phone is with Virgin so I called them and they said that call divert isn't available to me as I am not in a cable area.

Anyone know how to get around this? Is there anything I could add to the phone that would do this?

No, I hadn't thought of this. How would this work exactly?

I considered just using the call answering service number as our main phone number but I would like the option of answering calls ourself and then only diverting unanswered calls.

Could I manage this with a virtual number?

Hi a1anm,

You could use a virtual number through a call management suite to dictate where and when calls to this number are diverted; for instance you can have it diverting to your office number when you're available, to your mobile if you're out or indeed to a call answering service.

The service is cloud based so you'd be able to access and manage call plans whenever you wish through the online portal.
