Call Answering Service Recommendation

I know there are many call answering services available (and have used and been happy with a few in the past).

But my client has specific requirements, and would like the call answering person to be more knowledgeable about the business than a random operator taking the call and going off a prompt sheet.

So am looking for something a bit more advanced that just simple call answering and message taking.

In essence, probably closer to a Virtual PA, where typically, the same person always takes the calls, but with the backup of that call going to someone else should they be on the phone at the time.

Any recommendations for such a service?
