Calendar as a marketing tool.

Has any member experience of using this perhaps 'old hat' method of keeping your name in front of the customer?

I am thinking of high quality images & card for a long lasting display, with a section for notes and a series of small articles each month with tips and advice on jobs to do etc. The customer will then keep it on display all year!

I agree! I think it's a great idea. I've never used it, personally, but a banker we did business with several years ago STILL sends us a new magnetic calendar every year. And to this day, when I think of financing something, I think of her. It definitely works.

Yes it works. So much so that we give our customers calendars in lots of different formats - some for their pocket, their desk, their kitchen wall at home and wallplanners for their office.

If you'd like some ideas and some free samples, just fill in the form at http://www.printing.com/contact/xmas and we'll send you some.

The pen pot desk style calendars are very good for this as they have a purpose - we used have these as our promotional gifts at the radio station and the amount of people who used to ask us for more was unbelievable.

This calendar caused us some momentary confusion in the office (the 'last month review' box is accidentally a duplicate of the August 'next month preview' box):
