no its built along all current standards. there's no redirect. the page itself works fine but google thinks its a different page.

I see. It's not there on site:

well something odd going on here.

the page is still not on the cache but it shows up 3rd on page all of a sudden.

site:yourdomain.com and cache:yourdomain.com could be lagging in synchronization. Google has many data centers and can show different search results in ranking & indexed files (cache & individual files), specially when sites are updated.
