Business Stationery - Printing Costs

M

Hello Everyone,

Just wondered how much to expect to pay for the following printing of my new business stationery. I have done the design work in Adobe Illustrator ai and pdf format.

250nr Letterheads (with small amount of blue, grey, black on front)
250nr Letterhead continuation sheets (similar to above)
250nr Business cards (with small amount of blue, grey, black on front)
250nr Compliments slips (with small amount of blue, grey, black on front)

I assume letterheads and continuation pages will be best on either 100 or 120gsm paper, I want plain white paper, Conqueror?

Compliments slips on plain white paper (think 100gsm will be fine for these).

Business cards on 400gsm white card (with small amount of blue, grey, black colours on front) -option for solid blue colour on back of cards?

Is VistaPrint any good?

Many thanks.

Regards

Matt

Great start, any competent printer will bite your hand off for a press quality PDF. Make sure you keep the resolution high, and take care to ensure any bleeds are provided. CMYK or spot-colour, depending on the printer.

Conqueror?
Plain white paper will be cheaper, but some people prefer the look and feel of Conqueror.

Try and keep consistency throughout your items, maybe go for the same paper as your letterheads/continuation sheets. (This is a personal preference, I must add!)

Read the reviews on the internet of VP and you may form your own opinion. Beware of the alternative sizes they use, and the additional costs they add on for things that should be standard, such as uploading your own artwork.

I would be delighted to give you a price, you can find our section on business stationery here. Our contact details are also on there.

Kind regards,
