Am buying a business and am looking for some microsoft word templates for the contract of sale.

Does anyone know where to find some?

You should not buy a business without legal advice. Period. Its not just the document but the enquiries to be undertaken and the committments and restrictions to be placed on the seller. Has your decision been affected by claims made by the seller as to the business? If so, you need to be able to enforce them in case it turns out there has been misrepresentation. You should not do this by just using stock templates. Usually its for the seller to porvide the documentation.

Legal advice already in place. We just have the opportunity to write a draft ourselves, which is lucky as some of the terms are in our hands.

Obviously our draft will be shown to our legal people for tidying up.

Just cant find any templates to use as of yet
