I think if you have a shop it is OK to think of an original name like 'Blooming Lovely' etc., but if you are looking for business off the yellow pages or internet, then what you do 'Gardening' and where you are based 'Chiswick' for instance are key works and thus a name like 'Gardens of Chiswick' is going to get you more hits.

Also, I would pop your location and the word garden into the internet to see what comes up, because that might give you ideas and would show you the sorts of names that come straight to the top of a google search.

Hope it helps.

Congratulations on opening your new business!

The process of finding the right name should take into account the aspects that make your firm different from competitors...and attractive to your target consumers. I'd be happy to help you and give you a few pointers, but a good first step may be to collect your thoughts on what makes a good name.

I've conducted a quick search online and found a site that may help. Unfortunately, I'm new to this site and can't yet post links in an easy to use format because of site restrictions. But will give it a try anyhow...

With this brief in place, you'll be best prepared to judge the appropriateness of names :)

Hope this helps!

My best,
