Business Insurance ????

I'm after a custom made insurance package for my Engineering Company. The ones i've seen online don't really offer much flexability, or give you too much cover for something i don't need.

I've had quotes online from £1,106 right upto £2,765 which to me shows that something don't quite add up.

If there is any Business insurance brokers on here then please get in touch via pm ;)

DirectLine were pretty cheap for me, might be worth while checking them out.

Just asked for a quote from Direct Line, They didn't have engineer as an ocupation so i had to put down structral engineer. The quote came back to me as Office and Surgery insurance???

You see this is the problem i've been getting and i don't want to pay online only to find out i won't be insured should i need to claim :|

Insurance companies are by design and nature not totally flexible. Best thing to do is talk to them - the online quote forms are even more rigid than the policies and it's impossibl to list every type of job.

Hiscox claim to be able to give you only the insurance that you need (in their ads), many people recommend AXA - also try Simplybusiness.co.uk - they specialise in business insurance.

Forget the online quote forms and talk to them - this is not like insuring a car.
