Business Insurance recommendations

Hi All,
Looking for recommendations on Business Insurance, are there any companies that would we be happy to view our insurance schedule and quote like for like on our cover?
I have completed a few online quotes but the tick boxes don't really allow for what we need in terms of cover and the industry we are in (Racecourse and Training Suppliers). I have also left it a bit late with renewal due on 1st August 🙈
We currently automatically renew every year with the NFU, an easy but expensive option!
Thank you to anyone that can advise...
Theresa

A schedule only provides a certain snapshot of the policy cover you currently have. It does not provide the background and detail of your business and how you operate.

I recommend contacting an independent insurance broker - who will take time with you to understand your business and then will be best placed to get the best quotes for you.

Feel free to get in touch (My contact details at the bottom of this post).

For your type of business, trying to get an online quote is virtually impossible - Online quotes are for "tick boxes". If you do not tick even 1 box, then you won't get a quote. The more "niche" or bespoke your business is the less likely you are to get a quote online.

That is tight, especially at this time of year with holiday season coming up. But not impossible!

Be open with the broker - let them know what your current renewal premium is when talking to them. This will get things moving quickly - a few calls by the broker to insurers will provide a quick response as to whether the NFU premium is reasonable or not. If Insurers know then can better the NFU quote by some margin, they will be able to speed up a turnaround of a quote in a couple of days.

You don't know if its expensive until you have something to compare it to. NFU are a mutual insurer that only deal direct with customers. They have their own "rules" and rates that can differ from the market norms!. I've seen quotes where they are hugely cheaper than the rest of the market, but also others where they are far more expensive!
