Email richard[at]rgbartlett.co.uk and CC rgbartett.itservices[at]googlemail.com an example of one that's been blocked and I'll see if I can work it out. You may be using an SMTP relay which is blacklisted, your IP address may be blacklisted, or you may be using keywords which are being picked up by message filters.

Are you getting any bounce messages at all? (e.g. "you were blocked as spam because ...").

How do you send e-mail? Is your mail client setup to use an ISPs mail server (SMTP) or do you have your own? It may be because the recievers anti-spam software is trying to resolve your MX record and findint that it points to a different place from the one where your e-mail is coming from.

Hi i have a website, and when replying to e-mails or sending out enquiries, my e mails keep going in people's junk mail is they anything i can do to change this??

I had the same problem the other day, turned out i had set some 'rules' in my outlook email client. I removed them and now theres no problem.

Was kinda funny, my real mail going to my deleted items folder and all the spam went into my inbox......couldnt understand why the rules i set did that.

Hold it, please, folks. So many intentionally helpful replies can often lead to confuse the enquirer.

simon20, send an email, could be same one to both addressees, to Richard (rgbartlett) and Chris (Dwebs-Ltd) and I'm sure they'll be able to offer a sensible response by examining the headers - assuming they receive it. ;)

So make sure you PM them to let them know it was sent and, as near as you can get it 'cos log files are very, very long things to sift through but they have timestamps, exactly when.

Hi,

I had this problem with my company e-mail, it was not only going to spam but also being blocked by some big clients of mine,

i found out that my IP address was being re-used by the e-mail host and in the past it had been used for spamming.

Might be wothr contacting your host and asking them to look into it?

Do you have a valid SPF record? SPF records can do wonders for your e-mail and stopping it landing in people's Junk Mail Folders.

Do you have valid reverse DNS? many ISP's these day's mark your email's with a spam score in the headers and one of the things they score on is reverse in many cases.
