We have developed a web based service that reports on compliancy and search engine related issues with websites.

The service is particularly of use to public sector organisations who need to adhere to accessbility and other standards.

We are looking for a Business Development Partner / Director / Organisation to help us commercialise the product as the website, sales material, product, etc is all ready to go.

Our background is in software development and despite various sales efforts we are not moving forwards as quickly as we should and this is partially because we are not experienced in marketing a product like this.

That's a good question but the answer is quite long and involved.

In short, we already are but we need more than that

is this very much like the W3C compliancy thing?

Part of it is checking each and every web page adheres to W3C standards, yes but it also incorporates a crawler (to find all the web pages and check compliance), a reporting system and so on.
