I'm pleased to announce that Business Data Group, which is my business that owns UKBF, completed the acquisition of Supplier Central (previously known as The Wholesale Forums). I'm sure there will be some crossover between our members, and we'll be spending the coming months sanitising the data as we did when I purchased this site back from Sift last year.
We will be bringing these two communities together under the single umbrella of UKBF going forward, including merging the newsletters which expands our weekly newsletter to over 200,000 recipients every Friday.
Supplier Central grew as a community dedicated to supporting wholesales and retailers sourcing products from manufactures and distributors around the world. Having started in 2004 (just one year after UK Business Forums was founded) they were quickly established as a leading online community for people in those sectors growing to over 200,000 registered members.
Now to search for next years acquisition...
