Hi all,

Does anyone know how much cash collections cost from Loomis, Post Office etc?

I was considering having my cash collected from my premises rather than me taking it to the bank.

Hi Dan

Would have thought you need a lot of cash to be collected to make it a cost effective solution. ???
Can you not encourage sales via card/internet payment? Thus reducing the amount of cash you need to handle.

Well our deposits would be less than £1000 at the moment but in the future with addition of new products and services were expecting to exceed this. We have a terminal with Barclaycard which we use but a lot of people still prefer to pay cash.

Any tips on increasing card sales?

Hi Dan

Your deposits are not large to justify the cost of collection. Presume your bank is somewhere close by in any event.
I know of a business that gives a discount for payment (card payment) when ordering in person, so that card payments can be taken straight away.
