Business Cards

A friend is a photographer, and she has examples of her photos, on the rear of her business cards. These really get a lot of attention, especially if she hands them to someone with the picture face up! They also can easily get picked out of a pile of business cards that are plan or have just text.

As Paul says, as long as the picture is a clear image of your business, then a picture paints a thousand words!

The rear of your business cards should spark interest. So if it's on the table, people want to look at it and see what's on the other side. A friend has his staff put pictures of them from childhood on the back of theirs, another who's a photographer uses his striking images.

There is nothing worse than a plain business card - unless it's got some other element of intrigue to get people looking at it.

We have produced plenty of business card designs and prints for many businesses. When opting for an image they are usually put on the rear of the card due to lack of space in the front. However sometimes a small thumbnail on the front sometimes fits, its usually personal preference.

That way you can write a personal message to/for whoever you're giving it to. We never spray-and-pray our cards: even if it's a speculative passing-over-of-cards we jot a note down on the back as the other person watches... something to make them feel we're more personal.

For example, at an expo recently a lot of cards were given away: I'll bet my fee for the stand for the day that most of 'em were just either junked or used to send spam emails. One of ours said on the back of it "Can help with the want-to-die moment :)" That way, it's going to be more memorable/useful...
