You can design your card yourself , but before that here are some tips.

You need to be careful about 3 things while selecting the paper stock for your business card ,they are weight, design, and finish. Better to choose a size that can fit into wallets.Use a stunning color that can grab customers attentions of visitors.Another important factor is " Quality " choose quality & affordable printing services so you can handle within the budget.A low quality printing will convey a bad sign about your services.

Quinn's printers is an affordable printers quinnstheprinters[dot]com, try place your order there.

Business is a tough game so you need to opt for the best in order to remain competitive.

Best of luck

I would try get the design-side done yourself on paper in sketch form.

Totally disagree (Im biased) - You need to use every possible way of getting 1 up on your competitors, would you think it better to use a professional to design your cards who has years of experience in how to market companies or draw it up yourself to save a few pennies?

Kind regards

To design my own business card with own logo can anybody recommend

I personally use to consider few things when I have any printing needs like

1. designing experience

2. printing quality

3. printing price

Designing experience is the one which mostly needs to consider on any business card printing, printing quality should be good and finally price of printing. We know that we don’t get high quality printing for cheap price, so, try to choose the company with reasonable price instead of cheap.

When I ask the same question with my friend he referred me thewordprint.com.au for my brochure printing, which I feel convenient to apply my printing request online.

Good design will bring more clients for your business, so select the company with good experience to have great business.

shame about that Christine, thus far no issues for me. I tried their free and low cost packages first, and went for a more glossy upgrade on my next order as they looked fine. As they say, other card designers are available, but I do not know of any local that match VP on price.

I would say, get the cards designed to ensure they stand out and look professional, plus save yourself the hassle of learning about bleed lines, margins etc
Then again, I'm biased :)

For printing, I have always vouched for FlyerZone.co.uk, their prices are great and their printing quality really is fantasic too. Win win!
