Our broadband gives us (measured by SpeedTest) 57Mbps download and 9.48 Mbps upload. Our access to the internet is 'guarded' by a Watchguard.
When we try to upload via, for instance, WeTransfer the VOIP phones stop working properly and internet access from other desktops (6 on the network in total, predominantly using Office 365 apps) freezes.
Watchguard insists that the problem is due to the upload speed of our broadband. Apparently WeTransfer requires at least 5Mbps and overrides any brandwidth limitations that the Watchguard tries to impose.
Is this a common struggle or is it unique to us?
