I am considering switching Banks, mainly because the fees at my existing Bank have increased rather sharply.

I run a very small business with no need for complicated services or loans but I do want an on-line banking facility.

I wondered what the current experience was.

HSBC have been great for us!! First 12 months free and no set up fees. Might be worth a try, unless of course that's who you're already banking with?

But the online banking's dreadful (slow server, lockouts, timeouts ...)

Normally, I would recommend Abbey. But for the past few days, I've been having constant problems with their service, their lack of diligence when entering personal information into their systems, and generally just the lack of care and customer service I receive from them trying to resolve it.

All in all, Abbey's Business Banking is good, assuming it's not a retard monkey halfwit inputting your information.
