Hi,

I make my entire living online and I can only give you these three little letters that help me still to this day:

PPC

Simple as that, use pay per click to find out what your market wants - I have based my entire living around it so it must be a solid foundation.

Hey,

Yes, PPC is basically paid ads - it doesn't necessarily have to be Google ads to be effective.

As I mentioned I use PPC to earn my entire living, so I am more than happy to help out - PM me if you want any more in depth info:

Hi Ian,

Try participating in local networking events in your area to meet other small businesses, however business networking needs skillful handling and may need spending a good amount of time.

There are business consulting organisations who organise such events regularly.

Also, since you are into web sites development, you should be able to work out search engine optimisation for your own web site to reach businesses who may be looking for your services.

If I may suggest, you might as well optimize your website and make sure it has reached the ears of newbies who want to have a better looking website. That is if you really want your business to grow exponentially as others do.

I have friends who are web developers and designers, and they are really good in their craft. Just like you, they don't just settle in their area or selected areas. They also have clients from other countries as well. Besides, offering web designs doesn't need your presence, physically, you only have to be there online. So, why not try some seo techniques or get the help of seo service providers. I might be able to help, if you'd let me :)
