***Note Kennyservice: No Live chat service requires your website visitors to have IM s/w. They chat through your website direct and you chat from your IM direct. Thats how it works.

I see that you use PHP live.
1. Its not cloud based. It requires you to download n install a s/w on your server.
2. It requires you to stay logged into a control panel all the time confining you to a desktop.
3. As it runs on your own server....the speed and uptime aren't guaranteed.
4. You aren't allowed to take live chats anywhere on laptops n mobiles.
5. $189/ year for a basic download? Too expensive.
6. Its not a widget on your website and instead its an actual pop-up which doesnt allow for persistant chat functionality.
7. You dont get a Agent-direct browser phone because its not IM integrated with S/w based service.
8. Chat transfer and 3-way conferencing isn't possible.
9. There is no real widget customization possible except the color and size.
10. minimum 10-15sec lag-time between each message.
11. Limited language localization.
12. You can't customize pro-active chat and shortcut messages.
13. They don't do Enterprise IM either.
14. Doesn't integrate with your CRM solution.

***Note: There are Excellent Live chat & Live Call providers at the moment in the market giving out freebies with all features included to beta customers for 1year.

Yes, all those features you said is correct, it is web based,
for speed, we tested it, it is ok for a chat. We use a good server,
so we do not worry about it to be interrupted.
For other functions or language, etc. we only use English, other language
is useless for us. it is just for a short business consultant chat, if there
are a very serious clients, they will talk with us by skype, msn or email us,
not by livechat.

It is business, we want everything to be simple, a businessman will just
want a simple use of livechat, not a funtional.

Regards
Kenny

Dear Kennyservice,

Cloud based and feature-packed service is the way forward.

You still cant chat real-time; as we know for a fact there is always a lag-time between messages with application softwares. Its definitely not SLA guaranteed.

I still think you are paying too much for a basic service which is lacking in pretty basic features like
Chat transfer
3-way conference
persistent chat function (visitors can continue chatting while browsing through your website and while performing any actions such as buying a product or service).
Having an image on your chat window boosts the visitor confidence by miles. They wont feel like they are talking to an automated machine instead to a live person. Its all about execution and presentation Kennyservice.

People at different levels of business like to choose and one can only ask people to choose when they have multiple options. Not everyone is a simple business such as yourself.

Live chat is for everyone (small, medium & large enterprises). the idea of Livechat on a website is to get more business and to keep the customers happy at the same time.

Ex: White label Live chat & Live call is bought by large enterprises
Ex: Enterprise IM itself suggests that it is for enterprises.
Ex: Priority support is required by large enterprises as per their heavy usage.

Just bcause you are a small business today doesn't mean you wont get to the next level tomorrow and that you wouldn't like to add more functionality to the service that you are offering to your customers.

Livechat is today viewed as and used for CORPORATE BRANDING.

***Helpful Tip: There are Excellent Live chat & Live Call providers at the moment in the market giving out freebies with all features included to beta customers for 1year.
Why pay a premium price for a premium service when you are getting it for free.

Dear nmsptyltd,

I had gone through your website which has no information on the price and very confusing with lots of services that you do (most of them based on mobiles).

You guys are almost like PHP live lacking most of the functionality (live chat & live call) and you charge extra for every advanced feature (considering what few advanced features that you have). and I am positive that you can't do Live Call feature for business websites which is exclusive to us as we got it patented everywhere.

Goodluck!

Live chat & Live call services are included in our Customer Support Services. You might have missed out that part.

Our site is divided into different categories depending on the services. Mobile-based services are in one section while web-based categories on another. Saying that most of them are based on mobiles is I think inappropriate. Does going through a website mean you've checked all the pages and read all its contents?

Our "Live call" feature is an Agent-direct built-in browser phone through which the website visitors could reach Live agents direct for free from world-wide instantly from your own browser. We give local access numbers to the business websites in 40+ countries. Its completely patented to Getlivechat.

I know all you do is a 'click-to-call button' on the website where the visitors can reach the switch-board (not the live agent they are chatting with direct) and they have to go through their discussion over and over. And yes...it costs the customer to pay national and international charges.

Getlivechat also integrates with any CRM solution that businesses use.
Language localization in "Any" language with our inbuilt UTF8 support.

Goodluck!
