Hi,
I am currently in the process of setting up a new business and I am looking for an impressive business address, without renting an office.
Can anyone recommend a company that do mail handling packages in the North West? Ideally one who will forward your mail.

Becky, there are lots of businesses out there that will act as your registered office and provide and mail forwarding service. You mention that you want a "impressive business address" - does this mean a city centre address?

There will be someone in the North West offering this service, it's just a case of Googling for it and checking them out. Try local business centres or places that offer serviced offices. They are the ones most likely to offer it. At least when you have a virtual office address at serviced offices, nobody can tell whether you are physically based there or not.

Make sure whoever you use is registered with HMRC for MLR and with the ICO for data protection so that you are dealing with a legally approved service provider, and not just someone who decided to offer this service to make a bit of extra cash from their office, as I know some do.

We are in the North and based on an airport in a large serviced office premises, if that's any use to you? We do mail forwarding at no extra cost (apart from the actual postage costs, of course) and have one fixed fee for either 3, 6 or 12 months. Nothing else to pay except actual postage costs. Thanks for your replies. The address doesn't have to be city centre, they just seem to be a better price than those on business parks.

One company I do know which does this kind of thing is Regus. A customer of mine uses them and has found them good to deal with.
