Hi All,

Here is the problem..

Starting a business which is going to be mobile. I live in a rented house which I can not run a business from. I need an address to register the business with Companies House (who have been as helpful as brick windows).

What options do I have?

This needs to be the registered address for a limited company. The tenancy agreement is not flexible as it is an apartment with mail handling.

There must be a simple solution......

Any help much appreciated :)

Yes, nearly all company formation companies off a registered office address, as do nearly all accountants.

Many accountant actually prefer you use their address as the registered address as that means they get all the formal notices so not relying on forwarding them.

Also if you want to hide your directorship address from the public register you can user a service address e.g. http://www.companiesmadesimple.com/service-address.html

Or you can hire a virtual office address, google it.

If you haven't already come up with a solution, you could use a mailing address from OfficeFront. They supply registered business addresses as well as just mailing adds and will post out any mail to you as often as you require. Their number is 020 8906 6666. Hope this helps!
