Bulk Updating Pricing?

Hi guys

My store has over 350 products of varying prices.

What I wish to do is to reduce the price of every product that's presently £16.99 to £13.99.

How can I do this quickly?

Regards

John

Catalog > Manage Products

Filter by price 16.99.

Select all visible products.

Update attributes from the 'Actions' dropdown and click 'Sumbit'.

Scroll down the 'Attributes' section until you find 'Price'.

Enter 13.99 after clicking the checkbox to make the change.

Then click 'Save'.

This will update all products that are currently 16.99 to 13.99.

Thanks for the reply and sorry I didn't reply sooner - wasn't aware of your reply!

I've been struggling with this issue for a while and having followed your instructions, Price still doesn't appear as a filterable field!

I've included two pictures, if you see something that's not set right, I'd appreciate your reply :)

Hi Stichup,

It appears you have solved this problem but just wanted to still comment.

Whenever something funny happens on our Magento websites our first task is generally to disable 3rd party extensions. 99% of the time it's a 3rd party extension that has broken or modifed your website in ways you didn't want (unless you have developers modifying core code which is much much worse).

So if the price column or anything else doesn't work, just disable the extensions (if they don't effect your website too much), then perform the actions you need (you may need to clear the cache before then too), then enable the extensions again.
