These are lists I have purchased.

From what I have seen Aweber does not allow importing of such lists.

Are MailChimp the same??

(I like to buy targeted lists before anyone says shouldn't do it lol)

Thanks for replys

If it's legitimate opt in lists, Mailchimp is excellent http://mailchimp.com/

Second that, I've used a few email marketing services and mailchimp is the best of those. I still use it for my projects.

If you know some sys admin, you can use something like Amazon AWS SES. It's a service that sends emails out on your behalf and can be used in conjunction with pretty much any web application assuming you know how to configure it.

I've heard good things about mailchimp too, although have not yet tried it myself.

The company that I work for use Constant Conatct, but I'm pretty sure you have to pay for that one. Try Googling 'email-' or 'newsletter websites' and see what others come up.

Hope that helps!

Email marketing can be extremely effective when done right. The only issue is that far too many people do it wrong!

I feel your pain in trying to find a good provider as I have been in the same boat, I would recommend aweber, there fairly cheap and their IPs are on a very wide range of white lists.

The only issue with aweber is that you cannot import a list without their permission, you would either need to create a new opt in campaign, or get their permission to add them to a new list.

Hope this helps...
