Building a online education website

I am looking to set up an online education business. Have got as far as writing most of the content, registering the domain and installing a wordpress theme.

At the moment it is all words and would quite like to make it an interactive course with audio clips and tests as you go through. Has anybody got any recommendations for software I can use to build something like this on a budget?

Dream weaver is a really good package for building websites...simple to use and has many built in funsction's...I am assuming that you can build websites 0_o if not PM me and I can direct you to some useful people.

Moodle

Its Open source virtual learning environment (vle) software, its pretty powerful and used by lots of schools, colleges and online providers (I think the OU have migrated to it.)

I'm a bit busy for the next few days, but I have some experience of setting up a VLE with moodle - happy to help.

I was going to suggest Moodle too, its a open source software that is built for online education we are working on a development of this software for a few Schools at the moment its pretty good however does need abit of updating and sorting to work really well.

I would recommend Moodle as well. We offer it as an automatic intallation to our clients. It's the most widely recognised/best open source solution out there for learning.

I'm guessing like the rest of the world you've heard of Khan Academy - http://www.khanacademy.org/ but it might be a good source of inspiration as well.

Online Education Website Should Cover all the details regarding the institute website and knowledge regarding the issues and FAQs Part, details regarding the subjects and courses should also be inclusive on the website information page.
