Maybe I'm naive but on a business line your calls are capped to landlines?? (with BT anyway) I guess I'm used to all the offers they send you at home..

Anyone know of any good options for a business line, just to call local and national land lines???

Bt business plan can cap national & local calls at 5p an hour, and 25p an hour for mobiles. Good if you make long telephone calls. if you make lots of short telephone calls you probably don't save that much (I'm in the first camp )

Most offers are cons - consider

1. the average duration of a business call is 55 seconds
2. BT is increasing the cost of the call connection. From memory, the minimum cost of a call of any duration is now 8p

So price capped calls aren't as useful as you would imagine. What a surprise.

We pay £10 a month on top of our line rental to have 500 inclusive minutes to landlines & 100 minutes to mobile. This is with BT Business; not easy to find, and you must have two products with BT (i.e. landline & broadband or call divert etc.)
