Hello you knowledgeable lot,

I'm a little confused about branding, for example;

If I stared a company called 'kahns kebabs' could a kebab shop called kahns sue me?

On a larger scale could "homebase' get me in trouble for calling ,my company 'home base goods'

Depends if they have a trademark and what the exact trademark is, and if you're are trying to get into the same market as them e.g.

Calling yourself as Homebase Goods in the automobile sector, would likely be fine, but in the gardening sector might make them come knocking.
