Box Making in-house

Hi All,

I currently own a distribution company where we buy boxes from an external provider. We are currently exploring the opportunity to "bring this service in house" and hoped that someone may be able to advise on the following;

1. Roughly how much it would cost to buy a box making machine? I would be making around 50,000 - 100,000 boxes a year over 16 different sizes. They range from 300mm x 120mm x 120mm to 2000mm x 1000mm x 1000mm
2. In your opinion would I be better to manufacture or buy the cardboard for boxes?

Any help or guidence would be appreciated.

Maybe you could phone them and speak to them about your requirements direct.

Bear in mind the extra costs of training staff, maintenance costs and storage area of the machine(s).
