Booking a hotel through the business?

Hello again,

I was wondering how to go about booking a hotel through my company. I am a contractor and I have a meeting and require a hotel. Can I put this through the business? If so, how would I go about this so I do not make any mistakes?

Do I just pay for the hotel and any meals etc. on my business card? How can I prove this is business and not a pleasure trip?

Many thanks,

Essentially yes, thats all you do. Make sure the hotel invoice is in the name of your company (I'm guessing you have your own limited company?).

If you get investigated, then you'll be able to dig out your diary and say "oh yes, I was in aberdeen for a meeting that day with xyz company."
