Has anybody had any dealings with this company?

I was signed up on the telephone (in rather a hurried manor) to a month free trial for their Tracker product.
At the end of the month i was called and asked what i thought of the product. I explained that i had no use for it, but thanks anyway. The conversation ended, with no mention of having to manually cancel the trail period or I would be charged.
Two weeks later i have an invoice for £1127.00.
I have asked nicely if they can cancel the product that i don’t want but to no avail.
Is there any advice you can offer me.

I would really appreciate any advice or tales of past experiences with this company.[/FONT]

Exactly the same thing has happened to us. A member of staff signed up for a trial period, told the sales consultant that she didn't think it was right for us, he extended the trial period, she didn't spot an email that went to Junk Mail, we've now been invoiced £1500 for a year's subscription. We don't want it, and we're rebutting very strongly. The sales consultant has now left the company and we're dealing with a fairly aggressive replacement. However, To be fair, since I posted on the Consumer Action Group's forum, where other companies have had a similar experience, the Director of Customer Support has been in touch so we're still in the process of trying to sort things out. I'll let you know how we get on.

I'm afraid I have no good news to report. After yet another telephone call chasing the invoice, we have now received a final demand threatening court action. We will now have to go to the time and trouble of reporting this company to Trading Standards.
