Best Wordpress SEO Plugin ?

Building a new website and looking for an SEO plugin.

Can anyone please recommend a good plugin and tell me why its so good and why I should use it.

I use 2, Platinum SEO - Been using it for ages and it does exactly what I need and has many options which I may need.
YoastSEO - A newer plugin I have used on 2 sites, only got into it as I use other YOAST plugins and his stuff is always brilliant.

I prefer Platinum SEO but the difference between the 2 is minimal imho

+1 for All In One SEO.

As others have said Yoast SEO is also worth a look. A relative newcomer compared to the other two WordPress SEO plugins, but that's one of it's advantages.

Always used All in One SEO and never had any problems

i like seo processor too. it calculates the percentage of density of your key words in your posts. All in one seo if the father of seo on wordpress!

All In One and Headspace 2 are THE best SEO plugins for Wordpress.

Headspace 2 is slightly more advanced but both will do an excellent job.

It's also important to remember that Wordpress is Googles favourite CMS (Content Management System), therefore you will have a slight SEO advantage to begin with

The Yoast SEO plugin is amazing, light years ahead of 'All in One', 'Platinum Seo', Head Space etc IMO

I would also say Yoast SEO. Fantastic plugin with loads of features.
I did have problems with the new version not generating an xml sitemap so I disabled that option and used a different plugin for the sitemap but I'd still recommend it just for the other stuff.
