If small houses are your customers, here is a list of ways to promote your business:

  • Put advertisement of Gumtree
  • Create a website and optimise it for organic traffic
  • Start using Google AdWords for paid traffic
  • Distribute leaflets door-to-door
  • Talk to your local estate agents for referrals
  • Look out for Sale boards around - often both old and new owners consider refurbishing the property
  • Put advertisement on local newspapers

You should also try the option to co-operate with real estate agents as they may have a list of clients that need your services. For this, they may expect a share of every sale.

Moreover, you should work with your online presence. You should list your business in credible online directories where you add information about your business name, address and phone number. This will then be visible to potential customers who search for the services that you offer. Also list the business on Google Business. A website that is mobile/tablet friendly will also benefit you.

Furthermore, you should work with increasing the brand awareness. Make sure that your vehicle is branded with your logotype and business name. Also spread leaflets in different areas so people know that your business is out there, when they need the services you offer. As you are a new business, you should try to attract customers with "offers".
