Best VPS Server hosting UK

Hi Guys,

Anyone have any reccomendations for VPS hosting in the UK?

Currently on shared hosting, but having a lot of downtime, so looking to move to a VPS.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Can you elaborate your site details? Are there any heavy images, or videos, or other resource hungry media applications constantly accessed by your site visitors? While choosing web host make sure you ask them about virtualization platform. Good Luck

No, the sites do not use much bandwidth. In total around 5GB a month.

Okay that's fine A lot of web hosts in the UK have flexibility with their vps plans as a starting point. IMO, the best approach is to contact web hosting providers through Live chat or Phone; and choose one that tell you what services they deduct from your account and which they don't....

VPS is a good option, however if shared hosting can work for you, just move to a new shared hosting provider!

How much are you paying at the moment and what the most you'll pay for your hosting a month??

Looking to pay around £25 max a month. Would prefer to pay monthly as well in case i have any issues instead of yearly.

Would prefer linux, and not fussed on the control panel software.

OK well I can do various flavours of Linux and a choice of cPanel, DirectAdmin or Plesk for the control panel. Or none at all if you prefer.
