Hi there, for my company I only use 1 email address which starts with info. Clients fill out a form on my site for my company to contact them.

My question is do email addresses starting with info tend to get sent to trash/spam folders more often and should I just use something like myname instead or a combination of both?

How do others here use company emails for a small business after someone contacts you via your website contact form?

Can't post full sample email address yet as I'm new to the forum.

Thanks

I would always go for a personal one.

It looks quite unprofessional when you receive an email from an individual at a business and you see it's from info@ or enquiries@

It also looks quite unprofessional to have info@ or enquiries@ on a business card (although due to my own proof reading mistake, my last batch of business cards have info@ as the email address!!)

A final reason is that it's a good way to make the business seem bigger if you have different email addresses. I know self employed people whose accounts department is simply their wife, but with her own email address in her maiden name.
