Best place to hold an informal business meeting?

I have an informal meeting at or around Londons Liverpool St station next week and have been asked to suggest a suitable venue.

Rather than peer through the windows of every Starbucks, Costa or Pret and in light of the topic under discussion the ideal would probably be tea and biscuits in a hotel reception area but from past experience this does not always guarantee a modicum of peace and quiet.

Any suggestions, both general and specific to the area?

Hire a good hotel room for a few hours, most do small office type rooms to hire

Use a hotel lobby.
They are great for meetings and my prefered way when in london.

Do you have a home with a basement? I know everybody wants to look the part. Sometimes looking simple is not as threatening.

Most hotels have meeting rooms free that you can rent for a few hours at a time which are quite cheap
