Best free video hosting, apart from youtube

[Real World Hypnotherapy]

Hey all

I want to know if anyone can recommend a decent video hosting service that is capable of more than 15 minutes? I use youtube a lot, however I have several videos that are 40-55 minutes in length and I need somewhere to host them. At the moment I am breaking the videos up into 10 minute segments, which is not very convenient.

If anyone can recommend somewhere that I can use, and I must be able to embed the code into my site, then please let me know.

I second that. I have used Vimeo for training videos and it seems a lot nicer to use and a lot less full of 14 year olds writing stupid comments. I guess it depends what sort of video and what your aims are.

^^^ May aswell lock this thread now. I'd say Vimeo is better than YouTube. Just not as giant.

I agree. I've never used this service before but the quality of the videos seems to be very good.

Hey guys

Thanks for the reply. I have now got a vimeo account but I am having issues embedding it into my posts. I am using the right [vimeo http://vimeo.com/16508680] but instead of the video it just shows the text.

Does anyone know how to get around this? I am using wordpress.com btw

It depends on what you're looking to do, Matt.

I did see that warning and they may take the videos down. They are recordings of interviews with past clients, so I guess they could be viewed as commercial.

If this is the case and they are removed, does anyone know of any other video sites where I can upload videos upto 50 minutes or so?
